Summercamp Medicine - Excursions and trips

We want you to get to know not only Münster but also its surroundings – that’s why we will go on longer and shorter excursions, an activity for which Münster is ideally located. Some examples of attractive destinations not too far from our fair city:

  • As the crow flies, Cologne is no more than 130 km from Münster. Can there be anybody who would not like to see the Cathedral and the famous museums?
  • Near Münster, the Wiesmann car company produces extraordinarily beautiful sports cars
  • The Münsterland, a circle with a radius of approximately 50 km around Münster, has very pretty little towns and more than a few historic castles and residences
  • The city of Bremen is a former Hanse port and sports many gorgeous houses and romantic little streets
  • If you are lucky, you will be able to see Germany’s only free-ranging wild horses, not too far from Münster
  • The Ruhr area, the largest industrial region in Germany, lies directly on Münster’s doorstep
  • The town of Detmold boasts the largest open-air museum in Germany, a place of special beauty
  • Amsterdam, the city of canals, historic houses, and more, is not even 200 km from Münster.

The excursion programme costs EUR 130,-. It is not necessary to transfer the payment in advance; as long as there are places available, you can register and pay directly in Münster.
