Registration and payment
The following payments, if applicable, must be made to the WiPDaF account no later than two weeks before a course begins: course fee, rent, and deposit for a rented room.
When transferring money from an account outside Germany, please make sure that all additional fees (for example, for handling or administration) are covered. WiPDaF cannot pay for these expenses and would have to charge you for them.
Your registration will be binding after we have received your payment of the course fee. Until then we will reserve a place for you.
Rooms will be booked only after we have received the money for the rent and the deposit.
Cancelling a registration and refunding payment
Course fees and rent will be refunded if you cancel your registration no later than two weeks before the course begins. Any bank charges will have to be covered by you.
If you cancel a course later than two weeks before it begins, the course fee minus a service fee of EUR 50 will be refunded. Any rental payments made will be refunded if we are able to find another tenant for the room. This does not apply to rooms at the student residences, for which we cannot refund any rental payments at all.
Any bank fees incurred due to return remittances will have to be covered by you.
In case you cannot participate in a language course because you were unable to obtain a visa, please show us the letter of rejection and we will refund the course fee even if the course has already begun. You will, however, have to pay for any bank fees incurred.
With the sole exception of the visa problem mentioned above: as soon as a course has begun, no course fees or rental payments will be refunded.
